The second UPDATE is of various things like our cat Ricky, more Fall Colors, Mt Shasta covered in snow and our own 3rd Snowfall today (Sunday)!! Snowy Peaks, Fall Colors and Dragon Knifes

Hi Everyone,
Here's a few more shots of after our little drop of snow the other day. Some shots of what's left of the snowfall on our taller Trinity Alps peaks, taking from the Marinos where we ate breakfast, the parking lot of Top's Sentry Markets after shopping and then out by the local airport to get better closeup shots. Some shots include Fall Colors with the low afternoon sun shining thru the leaves, which I thought were beautiful and brilliant coloring. Then a picture of the 2 new knifes that I just added to my collection, eh!! I have collected all types of knifes thru out my life, as I love old western and other styles, just what ever 'hits' me as something I like. But I also like these Dragon styles too because of the shape/styles AND because I love Dragon stuff, eh!! ;-)) Hope you enjoy the pics!! Later, 'Viper'

1st & 2nd Snow of the Season!!

Hi Everyone,
Well, Saturday the 11th, we had our 1st snowfall of the season!! It was only about an inch when we got up to go shopping and was gone by the time we got back home. Which I liked very much!! ;-)) But this afternoon, Sunday the 12th, it's been raining and every once in awhile we could see some of the white stuff again. Then just about 5 pm when we were getting ready for dinner and watch a couple of our Sunday night shows on satellite, the picture started acting up because of the wet snow blocking our reception thru our tall pines. Now it's almost midnight and I'm trying to do a lot of my graphics on the computer and just uploaded a new page to my 'America the Beautiful' web pages titled 'The Final Inspection' which is a really good read. MORE FALL COLORS!!

Hi Everyone,
I took more Fall Color pictures today because after having 2+ days of rain and the colder weather the colors are really popping, eh!! For those of you that know the Weaverville area the first picture was taken as we left the Tops Shopping Area and were headed home up Oregon Street, right. I took a couple showing Main Street/Hwy #299, then we turned left on Oregon Street for the 3 mile drive to our place. All of the shots were taken from within my car and of course most every shot showed the car dash. So I cropped the shots to remove that and some times the width too because I wanted to show more of the pretty Fall Colors. Then the last 2 shots were taken about 3 hours later while I was in my office checking me email and editing all of the other pictures. Cats, Fall Colors, Whiskeytown Lake, Truck Accident, Albino Deer, Senior News, Politics and Woman Logger!!

Hi Everyone, Today I have a mixed bag of pictures for you so I'll try to tell you a bit about them to help you decide on viewing them or not, ok!! I added the articles from our local newspaper The Trinity Journal too, because I thought you would like to see the picture of an Albino Deer, to read the article GAC News to see what our NEW Manager has to say, to read the article by Barbara Talvola that I'm inclined to agree with about NOT changing the time ;-)), the article about a woman winning the logging contest and lastly to read some of our local politics about maybe our local hospitals closure. The $118 is the yearly cost to be added to our tax bill to keep the hospital running. I think Gayl states it very well!! Later, 'Viper'
