Quilts, Snow, Bikers, Olsonware Tea pot, Mallards, Mill Pond
Hi Everyone,
While we were in town today doing our weekly shopping, we were able to see the Trinity Alps because we had no fog or rain clouds, so I took more pics. One of my shooting stops is at our local mill and there were some Mallards taking a break, so I got some good shots of them AND the snowy mountain peaks, eh!!
Also, we had a new 'quilt' shop open here in Weaver, so we had to stop and check it out too. While Kathy was walking around the shop and drooling, I was taking pictures of all the 'new' stuff in this really old building that's part of the history of Weaverville. Some of my pictures will show you a bit of the old brick walls and wood rafters too.
When we left there, Kathy's been wanting a tea pot instead of just heating the water for her tea in the cup each time. Since The Olson's have such great hand-made pottery, I talked her into spending more money than we would have normally, and she picked out a really pretty dark blue tea pot. While I was shooting the tea pot, Ricky was laying there watching every move I made, but when I pointed the camera at him for a couple of shots, he looked at me in disgust and would turn his head away for me. So I would get the camera ready and make a growl or such and try to catch him when he would look back towards me, eh!! ;-))
A bunch of bikers came thru town and my camera was off, so I did the old 'draw & shoot' and caught 2 of them and got a fairly clear picture too. ;-)) Also, I'm giving you all a choice again this time. You can watch a 'movie', click on 'slides' or go to the link to view all the pics individually on my web site. Enjoy!!
Later, 'Viper'
